Locate warrens

Locate and map all warrens to identify your problem areas, understand the population numbers and identify where control works will be undertaken.
ABOUT

Locate and map all warrens to identify your problem areas, understand the population numbers and identify where control works will be undertaken. Mark active and inactive entrances by map (GPS) or flags for future works. Recording entrance numbers will help identify the size and activity level of the warrens and estimate cost of control.

WHEN
All year.
FOLLOW UP
Baiting then harbour removal and warren destruction.
PROS AND CONS

This provides data on your rabbit population. It identifies where ripping and other control works need to be conducted and helps with cost estimates. If all warrens are not located, treatment programs will be less successful.  More warrens and entrances are often uncovered when harbour is removed and works are under way.
