One of the components of best practice rabbit management is warren modification. This includes ripping, bulldozing, excavating, or the imploding of the warren to stop any opportunity of burrows being used for shelter or rearing of young. These methods are conducted after the initial knockdown of feral rabbit populations by approved chemical methods.
